Yeah you could paint over the panels there just fibreglass so as long as you spend the time on prep they should come out looking great

I'd be interested in some of this Andrew. Being an utter newbie when it comes to grp though, could you give me a breif description of what would be required to repair items with descriptions like:

gel cracked
edges to fill
repairs to sand
gel damage to repair

Car body filler would be fine to fill any holes / cracks, finished off to 800 grit wet and dry, and then a friendly body shop to give them a few coats of paint, or they could be sprayed by hand with standard acryllic spray paint then a lacquer finish. Have seen a few finished off very well like this.
