Maybe something like this (should be IVA OK):

It's 35-36cm D&W steering wheel made by MOMO - with standard MOMO bolt pattern under "soft" horn button.
I couldn't find it at Ebay, but maybe worth to try.

Or:

What about picking up a westfield wheel, there small enough and iva friendly.
i've got a poxy wine colored one for iva. Picked it up cheap cause of its color.

Eternal 28th February 2013 09:16 PM

Great ideas on the wheels guys! Will look into getting a westfield wheel.

Just went to install the exhaust manifold and broke off another stud on the last nut! FUUUUUUUUUUUUU......................... These standard nissan studs are made of butter.

Quick photshop of what i want the car to look like when its done....

Eternal 8th March 2013 05:00 PM

BIG engine! Intake installed and more or less finished. Need to bolt on fuel rail and a few other bits but one bit ticked off the list!

Eternal 9th March 2013 02:12 PM

Not sure if i have said it before but here is a link to my YouTube channel. I am attempting to get 1-2 vid's a week uploaded.

Little engine update.

K4KEV 5th April 2013 11:56 PM

starting to look the dogs Alex keep it up cos I cannot wait to hear what it sounds like.

Eternal 6th April 2013 09:23 PM

Column wiring done ignition works and turns things on. Starter relay ticks so that's a great sign! Flasher relay not installed so cant test indicators. Lots of stuff does not work but then again most of the car is not wired heh.

Eternal 12th April 2013 09:31 PM

Engine bay wiring :D getting so much closer to having the engine in!

twinturbo 12th April 2013 09:47 PM

Comming together,

where was the loom from? I am going to build my own from left over sierra/granada/scorpio plugs and wiring sections...

Is that a "T" in your front brake line? If it is I don't think that's allowable. Is there not a requirement to have separate lines from the master cylinder to each front wheel? I may be incorrect.

The Westfield Sport Turbo's steering wheels are quite nice; another alternative might be a fairly early MX5 wheel, if it's not too large.

Eternal 14th April 2013 04:57 PM

Yeah its a good old Donker heh

Loads done today! Flywheel, clutch, fork, gearbox, radiator, intercooler and engine fitted in one morning! Got to love the clutch alignment tool and flywheel clamp...... Proper job!

Well the stock BHP is arround 250BHP, so with a few design hinderances added , and a few removed.. ....

TT

Eternal 14th April 2013 10:04 PM

Its going to be a bit of an animal.
As for BHP im going to detune it for IVA to around 200bhp but in normal tune i expect around 300. Cant do much more than that unless i swap out the turbo but the block is good for way more.

Was fun fitting it by myself! Tell you what it was a bit tight at times and only scratched the paint work once lol

robo 15th April 2013 08:28 AM

Beast:cool:
And it would be a lot cooler than that but four is your lot on here still.

Went to Japfest this weekend and saw some mad cars but also got my ass in gear and ordered all my silicon hoses, ss mikalor clamps and ally pipes for the intake system. £120 later and i should have a sweet looking system when it arrives. Think I'm going to have to get a nice new HKS SSQV bov to match heh.

Will take some pics and upload them on Thu night when all the bits have arrived.

Oh also an update on the engine. I managed to get it running way smoother still have a long way to go but here is a vid.

Is this build dead now????

Eternal 14th October 2015 02:49 PM

Not dead I'm still here and still building will have an update for you soon! Chassis wiring loom completed now working on ECU stuff.

Badger 15th October 2015 05:41 PM

I look forwards to seeing the updates!

Eternal 1st November 2015 10:08 PM

Chassis wiring completed and tested. Few little bits to do but well on its way! Engine loom has been stripped down and all non essential plugs and wires have been removed. Getting ready to reroute it and make the connections to the body loom then it should all be more or less sorted. Will need to mount the skuttle and firewall then can start to mount stuff. Anyhow here is a little pic of it atm!

Eternal 25th February 2016 08:51 PM

update to follow!

Good to see you back building again. Are you going to post any more YouTube updates soon? I used to enjoy watching those. David

metal matt 28th February 2016 01:31 PM

I must say I am looking forward to seeing this progress. I think I started to build my chassis around the same time and then I stopped for a few year because of having kids. I also second the you tube bit I did quite like watching your progress

More panel work! New YouTube video will be uploaded in the next 24 hours just waiting for some video rendering to be done for the intro!

Eternal 26th June 2017 09:05 AM

I'm back!
Still alive and making slow progress but just wanted to say I will be on it again and trying to get it finished by xmas ready for the test at the start of 2018!

Eternal 30th June 2017 12:40 PM

Finally found the calipers I needed! Amazing how hard new Cosworth vented rear calipers are to find without costing £500+, Also found some new Jaguar X Type front calipers to fit 300mm disks wooooo! Cant wait to fit!

Eternal 12th July 2017 12:18 PM

The last of the caliper parts arrived back today!
Jaguar X-Type front calipers to go on ST170 300mm disks.
Cosworth Scorpio vented rear calipers to go on 273mm rear disks.
So hard to find all the parts but finally got there! It's going to be a busy summer with loads and loads of updates so keep an eye on the page and YouTube!

I don't suppose any of you know the length of bolts used for the sierra calipers to the hub? I seem to have lost my originals! Doh!
