need a favour

Can any body that has 1 min to spare put 'talonmotorfabrication' in to their search bar and tell me how long it takes to find either any info that relates to it or better still the website. Problem is I know what I'm looking for but I wonder if I should be making my online profile a lot more visable through google ect?

You may have also noticed that I'm using this screen name as it has caused some confusion to have different names between here and the web site but I assure you it's still Phil@Talon.

top hit either with spaces or no spaces.

you need to add more serchabel words to your front page.

Think of things like "kit car" "haynes" "roadster" "build your own" "bespoke"

Anything that somone may put in to try and find you. Just write a descriptive paragraph.

Also thing of spelling errors "Tallon" and put them in a string of words.

Do some quick research on SEO "Search Engine Optimistation" for other pointers. And sign up on "Google Analytics" to see how your site is doing.

Cheers guys, I've tried it through a few different accounts and search engines and some times it does not find the site even if I enter the address in full. I'm not that computer savy so it usually takes me hours of trail and error before I get it right. The last site I had online I had to delete 2 months of work as the shop side of it didn't work after I changed a setting which would explain why only 1 person has ever brought through it in 18 months.

I'll do some reading Robin, cheers.

Cheers all, yes it only works now because I've filled in all the details I should have done a year ago, before it used to came up with did you mean? then scroll through 9 pages to find it.
For my next 'teach a thick dog a new trick' repeatedly I'm learning how to use AutoCAD

also try facebook advertising. my wife gets 2/3rds of her bussiness (horsey stuff) through it. u can set a budget of say 5 pounds per week. u then pay for every person who clicks on ur website. my wife pays about 15p per click into her page. about 50.000 people see the advert. and a few click onto her website.

u can get facebook to only show ur link if they live in a set area. are a set age. gender. and have set key words in their interests.

Cheers I'll look into that, every little helps.
