It Runs!!!!!
Finally got the beast to start an run! Still alot of tweaking to do and it won't rev up on the throttle but it's a start!

sounds like it's may be missing a cyclinder.
Remove each HT in turn and see if it makes any difference. Turn the engine off to avoid an electric shock. If it runs worse on three of them but one makes no difference then you have found which one is providing no power. TT |

Another alternative is to pull injector plugs while the engine is running.

have you got the right firing order correct...it is usually 1-3-4-2 ......1 being at the front of the engine

if you can swap the injector plugs and see if the fault follows the injectors or the leads.

That's not really possible think I'm gonna have to swap the injectors over:rolleyes:

Just spoke to my friendly neighbourhood ex honda technician and he lent me a compression tester and said it could possibly be a sticky valve as the engine hasn't been run for a few years! So roll on tomorrow evening when I can get back to the workshop!

I've done a compression test tonight all cylinders are 8- 8. 5 bar apart from number 3 which is 4 bar so the next move is to investigate the vavles on said cylinder
