Wind seems to have died for the last 12hrs or so..

Yes it seems generaly a little busier.

Personaly I am looking at the projects (2 sierras and the Haynes) and deciding what jobs to do to make progress. I am also currently looking at spare engines. Another 1.8 CVH which I hope to put the bike carbs on and get running off the car, and also a 2.3 8V Hybrid for after IVA...

The garage is beinng tidied one square foot at a time. Although I expect a few of them to be take up by a new pedal cycle tomorrow...

Was planning a Car Port so that work can carry on on the cars ( not in the garage ) even when it's raining. But not sure funds can be justified.

I hope so as it is a bit quiet

dubzter 12th January 2015 10:13 PM

the anticipation is building

PorkChop 12th January 2015 10:15 PM

I've gotten busier with building, I guess you could say I've been given a kick up the backside.

If there are currently more builders, hopefully there will be a bigger turn out at this years car shows. If i remember correctly, there was only 1 Haynes roadster at Stoneleigh show last May.

Not this yeah but hopefully next year!

Wain 14th January 2015 09:24 PM

Like wise, im not too far from completion but once it is on the road i will be at every show :)

I'm trying to complete my car by the end of the summer so a might get a little driving in that is if the wife lets me in the garage more than I am now and I will be going to some show hopefully next year may be if there is enough of us a haynes roadster pitch

Wain 15th January 2015 01:11 PM

I am hoping mine will be finished by the end of summer as well. There are plenty of guys on here with completed cars, and with support from various companies such as Talon Motor Fabrications, there is no reason why we cant get a good turn out and put together a good stand at the shows.

I am planning to go to donnington in my car so would be up for that. Maybe even camping over there!

I think you got wrong end of the stick there, i can assure you all the work on my car i have performed myself. My point was if we had our own stand, surely you would be able to bring a show car with ya? Would be a good marketing stunt for your business as well. All helps towards putting together a good stand...

Wain 19th January 2015 08:56 AM

.....Just to clarify, by stand i mean our own club pitch in the field not in the halls. :)

Wain 19th January 2015 01:19 PM

If its that simple, hopefully i will be complete by end of the year so i will be emailing them next year for a 'sign on a stick'. If anyone wants to park up near me.....

metal matt 19th January 2015 10:17 PM

Sounds like a plan a sign on a stick
