First time....

out of the garage.

Thought I'd share this moment, quite chuffed to be honest.

Still needs shocks and brakes but it moves - flintsone like.

Looks good. I was over the moon when I got mine on wheels after the chassis was all painted up. I just need some motivation now to start finishing the chassis.

Cheers for the replies, appreciated.

TR5 was originally welded in, but decided to remove it until the engine (CVH) and carbs (?) are in place.

Then I'll be putting in a TR5 of some description somewhere?

Just need to crack on and get things put together.

Hi Daz,
i did the same thing with TR5, as i,m also using the cvh engine, Gus has put a photo of where he put an extra brace in to replace TR5 , its in the thread "big Day",
can i ask what made you add the extra brace between CP7,s?

nice work on your build, great photos too.

cheers
andy

I had an idea of putting in a tool stowage seperate from the boot (if u can call it that), thought that it might also help when making the boot panel - securing wise.

However, once i offered it place it just seemed like it should go there, possible stop any movement as well?

Anyway its in and stayin (for the time being).

great idea Daz, hmmmm got me a thinking now  :)

cheers
andy
