cp24

Where does CP24 go? Its in the back of the book but cant find it in the build pages! Need to know howmany there are and where they/it goes please!?
Thanks Rich

ahh the elusive home for CP24 :D :D

how far on are you with your chassis? the reason i ask is it does become more clear where they ( you need 2 of them ) go.

would you like to know or see if you can find the position for them? :p :D

Haven't even ordered my steel yet mate. Just making all the plates while I sort a few other bits out first. So there is only 2 of them? Is there much point in me finding out where they go yet or ask later?

HandyAndy 13th October 2009 10:38 PM

Hi Rich,
sorry if my first reply was teasing, but i,m sure Chris put these into the build but not where they go as a tease for us all  :D to see if we can work it out,
yes you need 2 of them & they are pretty important so if you don,t want to know where they go yet then just cut them in readiness for when your chassis is fairly well completed ( thats a hint ) or just to keep everyone guessing i,ll pm you the location ???

i know i know i,m a pain in the ar$e, long day n all that.
:o
cheers

I know where cp24 goes but I didn't use them, I read a thread a while ago saying there was enough strength without them? Am I in trouble? wishbones and wheels are on now brackets painted e.t.c.
I welded those perticular suspension brackets from the top and below when I had the car flipped over, they bridged the gap fine. Can't find the previous thread either.

NEroadster 14th October 2009 07:06 PM

Thanks for the reminder I had missed those completely and I was planning to fully weld the brackets this weekend so will add the plate before I finish the welding

miles50 15th October 2009 12:00 AM

Thats what they were for. I made an indentical ones out of 3mm not realizing I already had them. Oh well!!!

The above drawing was around before the hacking.
