Workspace

Had a good week, the workspace is almost cleared up.

Dry, warm & sunny.........I remember those days

First job...........Get that chiller stocked up with your favorite brew, it'll help with the build :D :D

I won't be Green with envy when I am out in the freezing cold & damp workshop :D

Sadly it's not a chiller, but the server cabinet I'm busy changing today. There is however a real fridge inside the garage and it's kept full!:D

Ahhh..........That'll be why it has a cable sticking through the glass door that isn't there :o :o :D

I hope you treat us to plenty of build photos with your nice new camera

Don't worry Ronnie, I thought it was a chiller as well

someones stolen your car bud

Land Locked 28th November 2009 06:53 PM

Until Thursday past there wasn't space in there for a car. The steel for the chassis is in the garage proper though, where is certainly isn't and won't be space for a build. The carport in the photo is hard up against the garage with it's own lock up doors, solid wall on one side and the holy wall as shown. The holy wall will hopefully in the next few months be demolished and rebuilt as a solid.

I certainly plan to take loads of photo's. I never realised how much I missed having a good camera.

Just in front of the "chiller" is the home made parts washer. Washing machine pump, paint drum, tray and rough frame.

Thats a pretty good idea, think I'll do me one to suit the build table when it's done. Thanks for the idea.:D

LOL, Sometimes unpleasant things happen. Rather be beaten by the Irish than something like the USofA cause the Irish are at least a rugby playing nation.

Hey Johan,

I'm pretty close to the stage you are now. Just enclosed my carport with doors at the front and back.

I hope to have the build table's material by end of next week.

I still have a problem tho. My car lives under the car port - I'll have to make everything mobile somehow or the car must sleep outside. Hmmm,.... we'll see.

Cheers.

Land Locked 11th December 2009 08:08 AM

I'm trying to find the time to finish the cleanup and make the build table. I suspect you'll be done before me.

fluxcored 11th December 2009 10:23 AM

Yes, time is a big problem.

I'm pretty on track thus far. Build table should be done before Christmas.

Next goal is a rolling chassis by end of 2010 but secretly I'm shooting for mid 2010. I do'nt like setting myself up for failure.:D

Cheers!
