Which Weels.
Which out of the following do you think would look good on a HR.
A Generic 10 spoke 15" A Ford 12 Spoke 15" OZ Polaris 17" TT |
Toora 17"
Ford Mondeo 16" Baby Cosworth |
The Toora 17" look the best but will they be to big, as most people seem to go with 15" rims
|
Kinda depends on the look youre going for
the 17s look good but so does the generic keep both and try when the cars on the ground im sticking with sierra alloys Ray:) |

I like the Tooras. But they may just be a tad over size. Otherwise my money is on the Generics but I fear they will fail the IVA without the centers. TT |
Im using granada 5 stud hubs and have the 16" cosworth wheels with 195 45 16 tyres, would these be ok?
|
I have just managed to swap my much diss-liked RS style alloys for a set of the cossie ones :) :) ( after 2nd look, read as ish )
15 inchers from an Escort GTI They'll do me for starters ...... Well at least untill I am rich enough to buy a set of Minilites :D :D |
Sorry to hijack the thread but does it make much difference if the wheels are 5J or 6J.
Regards Peter |
About an inch give or take a few microns :D
TT |
Depends on your tyre width and the wing width.

Look like 91 speck Ghia alloys, commonly known as "the late style polished ones that the laquer fails on and goes flakey" ;)
TT |
yes they did look rather disgusting when i got them but hopefully a bit of teatment with the d/a and a slash of paint will have them looking respectable
not to everyones taste maybe but kinda cheap and they fit Ray:) |
Just be careful with your speedo though TT, you need to make sure that it will still read correctly with the wheels and tyres. You're allowed 10% over but nothing under. With larger wheels on, 17" you will certainly be under reading. 15" x 55 tyres seem to match the car really well and suit the speedo.
