I think we all are Davey, it was bad enough that Ronnie took a step back without Andy doing the same thing. :D

F1 on Sunday was much better than any silly football matches that maybe on at the moment.

Wonder if England are still resting after their match on Saturday - poor lads it must be so hard.

For me Sunday consisted of Le Mans till 2 then some 20Twenty followed by the F1... then the remote was wrestled out my hand for some soap action:)

All the while making short shift of a bottle of JD:) :)

Steve

My day consisted of half a day at work, home, dinner, watch recorded F1 (fantastic race), 10mins late for pool match due to F1, won our pool match while consuming loads of beer then a nice big Sweet & Sour Chicken for supper. If only all days could be like that but then you wouldn't appreciate it.......:D

And now back to work. Spoke to Handy yesterday and he's sounding chilled and just enjoying the break while helping a few local people with their builds.

Regards.....AndyH

twinturbo 15th June 2010 06:25 PM

Sunday... I forget what I did...

Don't give a flying whatsit about the football
Not into Bikes
Have not been into F1 since the mid 90's

I think I spent the day trying to keep the kids busy whilst it rained.

I can also happily confirm that handy is alive and well.
Spent friday evening with him assisting me with my build. I would like to add that without his great help and generosity my roadster dream would have been over long ago.
I don't know how many other people would offer the use of their own welder to someone they had never met, then offer their time without question.
Now that really is someone passionate about roadsters and helping others to succeed.

flyerncle 15th June 2010 06:43 PM

Handy is alive and well and as Spud says chillin and doing what he does best and will return in his own good time (I was with him Saturday).;)

fabbyglass 15th June 2010 08:39 PM

TT all last week and this weekend it's the Brit bike GP......fubar to football:D

RAYLEE29 15th June 2010 11:11 PM

The TT was absolutely mental the zero emissions class was great the senior was fantastic the onboard lap by guy martin was mental and i hope he gets well soon after his crash.
anyone that didnt see any of the racing missed out.
the top speed record was taken i think it was 192.9 mph on a public road thats insane
most ive done on a bike was 150 and thats fast enough
oh yeah football is pants and i dont agree with all this hatred and crap theyre saying about the goalie chap like noone else made a single mistake to**ers.
Ray:)

Headshot 16th June 2010 07:34 AM

While all my friends were getting stressed over England being embarresed by the USA :D

I spent my time watching recorded motorsport:

F1
BTCC
TT
Le Mans (poor Mansell! )

was a good weekend for me

Football sux ;)

spud69 16th June 2010 09:17 AM

I think we are all in agreement and football is pants.....;)

btw anybody see the indy 500 crash with Mike Conway on breakfast telly this morning? compare that with a glancing tackle where it takes them 10 minutes to recover and get up again while rolling around on the floor in agony then they're off runing around straight away.

I bet the peeps behind the fence were asking each other if they were still alive!

TT

spud69 16th June 2010 11:07 AM

Cant belive that debry didn't get through the fence and cause some serious injuries Rob

DStanley1809 16th June 2010 11:17 AM

That crash looks like a stunt from a movie

My weekend was spent at a friends birthday BBQ in the Wirral - lots of food and alcohol :D

Going to watch the F1 today and saw a bit of the Le Mans on Monday when I dropped another friend home in Cirencester.

I also agree that football is rubbish and all it does is ruin good pubs for a month!

Coozer 16th June 2010 01:11 PM

In fact since the weekend I been watching the Friends Provident 20Twenty and from an unbiased view it has been a lot more exciting than the footy!

Yeah! That's a very good fence.

I remember once though, a wheel came off an Indy car and bounced over the fence the spectators were not so lucky.
