I have to say I've no idea where they got the £7,500 figure from....

twinturbo 22nd June 2010 04:12 PM

Yeah, will probably be a bargin for someone anyway though.

Looks like a bargain for someone. I do hate people who claim a percentage complete for the build. Thats no where near 75%, its got no seats, rollbar, radiator, cooling, wiring, fusebox, brakes lines, fuel tank, fuel lines, prop shaft, bodywork, lights, dash, exhaust Etc Etc...... Its virtually a bare chassis. It would cost thousands to finish that car.

twinturbo 22nd June 2010 07:34 PM

Track rod ends and pedal box are interesting.

Neil P 22nd June 2010 09:48 PM

'it only needs minimal work to complete' errr............

He's obviously never built one himself!

Well the chaissis and suspension setup ( possibly the most critical job ) has been finished.

Must be typing error, maybe should have said 25% lol and £1750:)

The down fall with that car is live rear axle, so our car is much sperior to that, it is not a bargain!!!

Coozer 23rd June 2010 08:42 AM

It has a Sierra IRS back axle, not live.

twinturbo 23rd June 2010 09:09 AM

Yep, if you look at the pics you can see the Diff, Shafts, uprights etc..

It's just listed badly.

Yes it definitely has the Haynes back end on it and looks like an LSD.

But yes there is still a lot of work to do, someones had too much red bull when they listed that one.....;)

only cos its got the flanged drive shafts instead of spline.....;)

twinturbo 23rd June 2010 01:25 PM

As does all the disk braked diffs.

Only XR4x4r's, Ghia 4x4 and Cosworths got an LSD.
