Well I've made a best offer but there are apparently ten other people bidding, we'll have to see what happens.

I put runners on the drivers seat and put the passenger seat in a fixed position.

Seat runners add weight - if you don't need them for the car to function then don't add them :p

Yippie, my harness came today as well, I have not opened it yet, but it looks great.

As for the seat adjusters, have you tried a local scappy for a set of a metro? That is what Ash G used. I used the sierra runners, took a few hours of modification, but they look great when stripped back.

Failing that just retro fit at a later date. I think the passenger deserves some comfort after you have scared the woops out of them when you miss that apex.!

David_17 26th August 2010 09:40 PM

My harnesses came today too.

As for seat runners, i too was only going to have a drivers one, until i had a ride in spud's.

Having a passenger runner makes tightening the harness much easier, as you can slide the seat forward until its tight. Alot easier than trying to get at the buckles, as theres not much space down there.

Silly question or maybe not,at IVA time if there is no passenger seat does it need a seatbelt ?
