Possible Etb gauges bulk buy?

Possible Group Buy - ETB Instruments

I'm in need of a set of gauges and looking to buy from ETB.

Thought I'd see if they would do a group buy discount, so just wanted to gauge if there was interest at the moment, and rough numbers so I can ring them and talk turkey!

Let me know what you think.

Cheers

Adrian

Hi Adrian

Could you provide a link to the dials you have been looking at, and list the dials you intend to use, as a group buy may become complicated if to many variations!

I would be interested in principle,:)

Yep, I'm looking at the 7 set.

At the moment, it's £249 Inc vat and delivery for the set with mechanical speedo and all senders, or £349 with an electronic speedo. They also do the digidash, so I thought id find out if they would do a discount on their whole range.

Cheers

Spike, they don't list the set on their website, but if you google Etb instruments, and look at their standard range, they're the ones.

You get 80mm speedo and tacho, and 52mm fuel, water temp and oil pressure, and all senders. If you go for the programmable speedo, you also get the speed sensor. You can have black or White faces, and silver or black rims.

They do advertise the set in the kit car mags

This would be a great bulk buy.

I,m tempted,:o but would possibly fit a full "7" set after IVA as i,ve just finished my dashboard using the Sierra binnacle, but I too prefer the look of individual clocks

I must resist :D but then again, maybe I won,t :D

cheers

I bought a set from McGill motorsports, but I bought a set of 4 smoke effect gauges:

http://www.mcgillmotorsports.co.uk/i...&productId=597

They are very nice as they are effectively blacked out when off, but light up very nicely when switched on. I like the look of their "plasma" gauges but didn't go for them as I was worried how easy/hard they may be to read in bright sunshine.

Must say great value at £62.50 (were even cheaper when I bought). Only problem is McGill don't do speedo's, so I bought one from digital speedos for £50. So I spent about £100 and got everything you need. Installation wasn't difficult either.

I like the digidash myself but the price is way out of my league.
so the sierra clocks will have to go in:(
Andy any pics of your dash?

hi
has there been any progress on group buy. have money burning hole in pocket!!!

adrianreeve 10th February 2011 05:41 PM

Sorry, they weren't very keen, then I got a set of gauges over the weekend from another source.

If a few need gauges, Rally Designs may be more open to a bulk buy, but as I said, I no longer need any.

Cheers

Adrian
