Besides your minor error, you look as if you have made some good progress

Have you done plumbing for petrol and brakes..have some 8mm microbore "aquired" need some ideas

HandyAndy 6th March 2011 08:31 PM

I win I win I win :D

There,s no CP24 plates installed ??????????? :D

Also, you need a locknut on the Transit drag link,
& also it looks like you have the bolt going thru the upright ( where it clamps the mushroom ) the wrong way, its threaded at one end :)

Do I win the penny caramel? pleeeeeeeease :D

cheers
andy

Andy_B 6th March 2011 08:36 PM

haha andy i new you would have some more ...the reason the transit lock nut is not fitted is it felt bloody tight ..but i saw wee dents in the outer edge so was going to ask around and see if this is the norm ? CP24 plates refresh my memory...brake pipe plates ? cant remember and book is outside in the garage

Andy_B 6th March 2011 08:37 PM

:D

The only other thing that I,ve noticed is the steering extensions are set at different lengths & the steering rack appears set too high in the cut out slots.

Andy B............. CP 24,s go underneath the front lower rear wishbone brackets, its where BR8 & BR9 meet BR1 & BR2, a small triangle plate.

A little tip ......... it may help you later on in your build.......the holes where the handbrake cable goes thru......cut a 2mm slot from the bottom edge upto the hole ;) ...it saves needing to cut the handbrake cable in the middle of the cable, just then need to shorten it at one end when fitting it to the drums......thats if you are using drum brakes of course

Have I spotted the "deliberate" error? .

Your really cracking on with your build, its looking great, well done mate

cheers
andy

Thanks Andy...will do the mod on the handbrake plates..will sort out the mushrooms and top bone ...thats why i had screwed my extension out so much ...the camber angle and general direction was obscene looking....as for that cp24 barsteward....i will need to look in my box of bits ...thats why i goaded you with a penny caramel...think twin was first....but i will send you guys some with my next order for back end stuff !!!
