honda bike engine
Hello everyone...
yesterday I got a Honda bike engine..guy told me that it came from 2007 Fireblade, but I have suspicious that he can be wrong..I have the engine number SC35E-3103582.Can anybody help identify by engine code? |

looks like a cbr110xx blackbird imo http://www.honda-fireblades.co.uk/specifications.html also note that under the fireblade engine codes the SC35E is missing. |
Thaks for support:cool:
|
One more question-is it possible from engine number to know the year of build?
|
I think it can be done. Best bet it to phone a Honda garage or ask on a Honda forum. Also worth a try asking on locostbuilders.co.uk loads of that lot use bike engines.

Yes,I can!!Because we cannot to regestry kit cars here(Latvia):D :D
|
You can trailer it to Estonia, pass the equivalent of IVA, then reimport it back and get Latvian plates. As long as it's been approved in any EU country, they can't deny registration. That's what I'm planning to do.

call or e-mail the the log book peoples, they should be able to tell you everything you need to know about that particular engine (even of its been stolen!
i had a classic mini a couple of years ago, bought it off a friend and when i enquired about the log book it turned out to have been "disposed of" (crushed) apparently not! |
Now I am complitly confused!yesterday, one of my friend, thru Honda dealer check the engine, and it is 98 build...But I know for sure, then the engine came to me,the seller took out injector and it is mean that engine is from 99 and higher:confused: ...Mistery.
|
It is finally done..310xxxxx is for 1999 year model...BB builders gived some advises!!!Where I can get buffle plate, sproket adapter..what must be done,checked..
|
For baffle plate ask user "nitram38" at locostbuilders.co.uk - he supply them around the world.
And for sprocket adaptor - try http://www.sprocket-adaptors.co.uk/ |
I wanted to ask about clutch slave cylinder...I want to keep it,but make change lever on gear shift handle like wrc style..maybe somebody know who done this or where I can get info?
