Manifold for CVH

Does anyone know if there is an exhaust manifold with an outward facing flange that will fit my 1.8 CVH?
Thanks in advance

Thanks both
Is that "RS turbo" off an escort?

Yep, the ports are not a perfect match but they seem to work. Could make a 8mm plate to flow them.

Theres one on ebay £40 inc pp does that seem reasonable.

Also does anyone know if there is a mushroom type air filter to fit a pierbugger ( about 95mm inlet I think

Hi,

why don't you just use the original manifold and fudge around with the down pipe to get it how you want it - worked for me.:)

Would have taken me a lot of fudgeing.. Instead building my entire downpipe to the silencer took less than 2hrs.

My engine is quite well back.

I may just have a go with the original but it will be quite a tight curve
The RS one would be a lot easier but maybe not 40 squid easier:eek:

Anyone any thoughts re the mushroom filter

I would just hold out for an rs one as long as you can. There's bound to be other ones that come up on ebay for less. Might also be worth calling round a few breakers near you to see if they've got one.

My first engine was cvh and i used the original manifold and a chopped downpipe, took me about 1/2hour to get it exiting the side where i wanted

Thanks for all the advice.

I dug out the old manifold today and tried it in place. Theres very little room for the down pipe as its so far back near the ttunnel.
Ill hang in for the RS it will make things a lot more straightforward when making the down pipe.:o
