I can certainly agree these are excellent machines. I used a couple of 2nd hand ThinkCentres as main machines for my small business for nearly 2 years until funds allowed new kit. They are still giving good service in a backup role now. Does what it says on the tin.

Excellent.

Gave it a quick tryout but as I don't have a USB keyboard or USB/PS2 converter it was a limited trial, it does however look very good driving a 26" widescreen monitor. Of course without a keyboard all I've done is set the screen res up and played Spider Solitaire but it looks good so far. Nice one Rob.

Bought USB keyboard from tesco for a tenner but n first try the 6,7,t,y,g,h,b and n keys didn't work. Tried it on my laptop and all good so back to Lenovo land and this time success:D . Got flash installed and sound working well. Tomorrow evening I intend to load my Sony Vegas video editing software and then I can get back to work editing a music DVD for a local band. Last PC kept randomly rebooting in the middle of doing anything and with a slow Celeron it was painful in the extreme to use.

odd that the KBD was odd.
Still units available.. What's the band called, my m8's touring his band next month. I love em they are "the sun explodes" TT |
Cheers Rob, the band are called "a Barrel o' Baddies" they bill themselves as traditional Irish Punk and they're great fun. We should have seen them last Saturday for Paddy's day but the lead singer/banjo player is undergoing some vigorous treatment for lung cancer and got pulled back into hospital start of last week so they had to cancel. I video'd there last amp'd gig back in January and just trying to edit three cameras worth into something entertaining.
Here's a short clip of their performance, sound's not great but it was shot on a compact camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSLr6VEV8uQ D. |
Kin brilliant! Irish bands are great they do have raw talent.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klLguqi3pqY Worthy of some volume and headphones. Bob |
