Bottom wish bones dimensions

Hi all just a quick question, last year i bought the parts needed to fabricate the front bottom wishbones. Anyway tonight I started tacking them up and when I started loading it all into the jig it turns out that the tubes have been cut 5mm to short, how much of an impact will this have if I just use them as they are. I look forward to any help guys.

Can't speak for certain, but i'd have thought there's enough give in the steering adjusters to not be too great an issue, can't say what impact it'll have on the drive geometry though.

Can't you move the plates out slightly? couple mm? Assuming the holes for the ball joints are allready drilled so cant reposition them...

Everything is drilled off and fixed, the only thing I can think of is to cut each tube, machine a shouldered boss to fit into each half of the cut tube and then weld them back together, but will it be worth the effort just to gain 5mm on each of the four tubes

That sounds reasonable, makes more sense than buying more seamless.

One thing I'd say is make the cut near the far end of the plate (near the ball joint), that way there'll be less stress acting.

Progressing well, with the parts, hope to have them all finished over the next week, providing nothing else happens, then a bit of paint and they will be ready for bushes.
