rear driveshaft fit?
 
trial fitted driveshaft for first time and It don't look right. the bearing housing and brake backingplate are about 20mm away from hub. anyone got some pics of rear drum assembly with just driveshaft and hub before bearing ass on.

It does all compress when you tighten the bolts up. Check the lengths on the bones are correct to the amendments.

hi, I have checked length extra 10mm added, I n oted that the shaft does compress somewhat, is it supposed to or is that for movement under compression of shocks?

If you have push in shaft's it keeps them seated in the diff,there are two big springs in the inner joints.

thanks guys all done, didn't have donor to strip as I bought parts separately so wasn't sure.
