Steering rack
 

I need a steering rack and am struggling to find a mk2 escort rack for under £80. The bay doesn't seem to have any deals. Reluctant to go to a breakers for it though.

Any suggestions?

To be completely honest, I think this is really just an area where you have to cough up!! In the overall picture I don't think 80 quid seems that bad?

I just got an mk2 escort rs2000 rack inc. tre from ebay for £30. Just watched another one go for £15 which had steering column shaft on.

I had the same scenario with Sierra steering columns.....all normally sell for a fortune......I ended up landing one for 12! Luck of the draw and being in the right place at the right time!

All depends how much of a hurry you are to get one, as with my whole build if you aren't desperate something normally comes along
