Moving gear lever turret and reverse light switch
 

I am going to have to move the gear lever backwards by about 150mm and have also noticed the reverse light switch is hitting the chassis rail

So here is my plan

I intend to make a turret extension as many have done before but I plan on relocating the reverse light switch to the turret extension so the switch sits behind the gearbox is operated by the newly moved gear leaver

Can anyone see any flaws in my logic in doing this
