Remember driving an Anglia with crossplys years ago in the snow that was good fun, the Discovery is just a non event plenty of grip and very difficult to slide.

Had an old k reg Disco, used to go sideways in the wet for no reason very alarming as it would just "let go " when you least expect it. Decent tyres and no wear in axle/bushes etc. Ace in mud/snow,Strange.
