Quickshifter

Anyone fitted one of those quickshifter kits to their type 9 that rally design sell? They seem quite and was wondering whether it's worth fitting one before I fit the box.

Cheers

Dave

Or in the Spirit of Locost and the Haynes Roadster book Try making your own :)

I used Dave's quickshift on my Locost - worked a treat!

Cheers guys - looks like just the job - that means I've now got about another £16 to spend on build biscuits, errrrrr, i mean the car!

Chris, does the quickshifter job make a noticeable difference?

Chris Gibbs 3rd August 2009 09:51 PM

Yes, it made the shift shorter at the price of making it slightly more effort but I thought that was good too, gave a sort of "Rifle bolt" feel.

Maybe I just drive like hooligan ;)

Cheers

Chris :)
