Please can anyone with a bike engines roadster tell me what the weight of their car was when completed.

Hi Jon,
firstly a warm welcome to the forum & wish you well with your Roadster build,

its hard to give an accurate weight as each builder may have completed their car using different materials ( eg. floor ali/steel etc) but most cars seem to be around 530 to 600kgs,

tho if forum member "Slimtater" see,s this then i,m sure he,ll know the weight of his car, its a blade engined Roadster.

hope that help:o

cheers

Welcome Johnny, nice home town BTW ;)

I seem to remember Tim's car being 510kg but I don't know for certain. With the right bits I'd say it would be possible to get under 500kg.

Cheers

Chris :)

If I recall, 508kg, but can't find the sheet with it on! Having said that, I have done quite a few bits since it was built including changing the wheels, so I ought to get it done again.
Still around 250bhp/ton! :D
