Exhaust Manifold

I have read in previous posts that if you install a CVH for IVA, and then upgrade to a Zetec that you can use the same exhaust manifold.

I am assuming that I could therefore use a Zetec tubular manifold on my CVH that is currently in the car.

If you have any ideas of suppliers of complete manifolds, or parts for me to fabricate myself that would be great. Ideally I want a stainless steel manifold. I am planning on getting a 5" dia silencer from CBS at Exeter next week end.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,
Not sure thats correct but quickest way to find out would be to buy a zetec exh manifold gasket and offer it up to your CVH exhaust and see

HTH BV.

Yes they are the same Mark, both exhaust and inlet manifolds. Makes for a very easy upgrade from cvh to zetec. There are also other cvh bits you can use for the zetec.

Hi,

is this the 1.8 cvh your talking about??

Looking at manifolds myself.

Edit - just found another post - I'll shut up.

I was looking at using a CVH turbo exhaust manifold on my zetec but they don't line up, some holes need re-drilling in the head which promptly break into oil gallery's. There is adapter plates that come up on the bay sometimes..
