Have you thought about using stainless or steel studded bar? It's what I used. Do you also need it for the differential mount?. I have some of each although although the stainless was more expensive. I put the remainder of the stainless pack on ebay last year but nobody wanted it. May have a bit of steel bar on the shelf already machined to size. Can look at the weekend if its any help?

Thanks for the offer spike but i really dont want to use stud bar, would much prefer a plain shank bolt.

In the end my local shop didn't do one long enough (about 250mm if I remember correctly) so I had to use some HT studding, cost about £3 for a m. |
