Front cycle wing brackets

I`ve started on the cycle wing brackets today but when I assemble them loosely on the strut the rear tube seems to run straight thru the brake flexy, does anyone have any photos of theirs or have you designed your own perhaps? Thanks, Dennis.

Hi Drury,

You have to angle them tubes back over so that they miss the caliper. You can see them a bit on this foto on our stores page:

i had the same problem. i cut out a c shape where the pipe was in the way then cut a scrap bit of 19mm tube in half and welded it into the hole to seal the tube back up.

will take a picture for you tomorrow. tbh the book design for the wing stays is the poorest bit in the book. i plan to remake mine similar to mev's design later on when i get the time.

Thanks Andy H, I see what you mean from your photo.
Ash, a picture of your mod would be great too, Thanks very much.
Dennis.
