Core Plugs
 
Whats involved in changing core plugs on my pinto and how do i go about it.

From my experience with a V8.

Ram a screw driver through the core plug then leaver it out, clean the mating surfaces meticulously.

Get some core plug gluing stuff (cant remember what I used) then glue a new core plug back in.

There is probably a more scientific explanation to follow but that is the crux of it.

Just as described by Ginge and use a good fitting socket or other to ensure they dont deform when you whack them back in and dont go too far in.

Have just ordered some plugs, will go see my local motor factors for some sealant at the weekend.
