How to draw angles on pipe

Dear All,

Today I started cutting my pipes, the cutter has degrees but not in detail, is there any way that I can draw them on the pipe using a marker and the cut it. I am in Peshawar Pakistan we I am unable to get a cutter with all the angles in detail.

Looking forward to your reply anxiously

I think you are talking about a protractor, this can be used to mark the angles and then cut it.

Good luck.

If you are talking about the round tubes do a search on google for a PC program called "tubemitre" . It will enable you to print patterns for the tube. you print them on a standard PC printer then stick them on to your tubes.
hope that helps,
Enoch

Hi flyerncle,

Thanks a lot, it never occured to me, I was trying to use the one that is totally covered, Just got a Protractor out of the geometry box in the store, the one that has empty space in between and it works, (photo attached as Protector 2)

That's why we are here Hamza, global Roadster building and help at you finger tips.

Draw a thick black line with felt tip marker pen and it is much easier to see and use a sharp scriber to mark the line for accuracy.
