Escort mk5b XR3i Please help

I have an Escort Mk5b XR3i 1.8 105 bhp i'm thinking of using this as my donor car but i understand that i need sertyain parts off the sierra or equivelant (Can't spell to save my life:D ) like the diff, prop shaft, drive shafts etc.

can i use the hubs and discs off the escort without ammending the books dimensions?

what parts can i use off the escort

all you can use off the escort is the engine and the steering wheel. the rest needs to come from a sierra

Should be able to use the engine management fairly easily though.

But as Ash says, not a lot olse.

MK5's are gettign rare now so if it's in reasonable nick you may be able to sell if and get a more suitable doner and a few pennies from the proceeds.

Thank you for that.
I was hoping to use more than That.
would you say its better to buy a second hand engine? and sell my car whole?

Well, depends what's wrong with the car.

nothing just needs a small patch under the rear passenger sill, MOT and Tax.

Well you may make more breaking it, but a lot less effort finding a new home.
