For Sale

HI All
Sadly time has come to sell my roadster. I’m looking for a new project and have some thing in mind. I am looking to sell for around £4950. It’s running with a 20liter pinto on twin 40 Weber carbs with the rest as standard roaster. In the last two years since passing SVA first time I have coved 7000 mile trouble free. I will be putting it on ebay and piston heads but seeing what you guys think first.

Very nice Frankie, should have no bother selling that. Just as a matter of interest, where did you get your exhaust from, very impressive :)

Which bonnet is that?

Hi David

The bonnet was Franks very own creation :)

He done a fantastic job making up the moulds for the new nosecone, bonnet & scuttle

Here's a link to Franks progress thread

Linky

I followed Frank's progress with great interest, sure he won't mind me posting hat link :)

Wow, that looks really good! The reason I asked is that it looks like it might do a good job of clearing the inlet on the DOHC engine that will be going in my build.

Couple of question for the original poster.

The car looks very nice, i was looking at one another meber on here was selling on ebay, i have a couple of questions. how are the cars for tall people?? I am 6ft 3. Also as there are so few of these come up for sale price is obviously objective but, adding on the (I believe correct me if i'm wrong) increased insurance premium for being a Q plate, and the fact the car is both 2 years older and with an older engine type now, what does the car have extra to make it so close in value to the one below on ebay?? Also are there any more pics, videos, dyno readouts etc??

I would be interested in the car but comapred to the only other fully sva'd roadgoing one i have seen for sale am curious as to how the suggested price was arrived at.

Good to know

Thats good to know, am looking around at the mo and heard the haynes roadster was alright for tall people, is a lovely looking motor, but the price is too steep for me compared to the one just sold on ebay being newer with more modern engine, not track dayed etc. See what it goes up for on the bay, if its a classified ad at that price i'd have to see, an auction maybe more promising.
