Tap and die sets

Dont suppose anyone can point me in the right directon to get a good quality but not crazy expensive tap and die set. Has to be able to do all the normal jap bolt sizes ie nissans, toyotas ect and also ford stuff. Also things like barbs for vacume hoses. Any help welcome!

I can't suggest what set 'to' buy, but as with most tools, don't buy the cheapies.
I got a £15 set for 'thread cleaning' purposes. I have tried to actually tap a couple of holes in metal and failed every time. Its not even very good for tidying up chewed threads. Its one of those things I really regret spending any money on. So I would avoid all the sets below £20 if you want to cut a thread. I think the next set I will buy will be nearer £50
