Diesel Type 9

I've bought a sierra diesel donor and just removed the box. Can anyone tell me if this is a straight fit onto cvh, pinto etc? How can you tell a long shaft version? This one came out of a Turbo diesel and the shaft is about 1/4" short of the bellhousing face. Will I need a new clutch arm or will I find a clutch to fit?

Might be worth opening the top cover and counting teeth, there was a third set of ratios mainly in the diesel P100
1st 3.91
2nd 2.29
3rd 1.38
4th 1
5th 0.82
