hopefully next week ill be getting my steel

Twin 19th September 2010 08:48 AM

Steels 2mm, i've not taken the burs off yet so it looks thicker :)

Bonzo 19th September 2010 09:26 AM

You made short work of that job Twin :)

The chassis will really start to come to life once you start tacking all of that together

I cut all of my tubes one at a time as I needed them & that was after I square cut the full lengths into slighly oversize pieces ( Just to get it off the floor ) .... Probably the most un-methodical approach in Roadster build history, seemed to take for ever !!?? :o :D

Twin 19th September 2010 09:36 AM

I cut it all slightly over & square for now, as I have to move it all from home (Chester) to work (Portsmouth).

This week I need to sort my build table and start a blog.

Bonzo 19th September 2010 09:46 AM

It will certainly be a lot easier to transport in kit form :)

I look forward to following your build progress
