calliper bolts
 
will 8.8 grade allen bolts be sufficient to hold the callipers and carriers on or do i need higher spec???? cheers guys

I have used the original bolts but sure someone will be along with the info :D

8.8 is fine but make sure you put locktight on them and take a picture as iva will want proof of locking mechanism if they see new bolts.

Would new bolts with spring washers be acceptable for IVA:confused:

not sure on that one the manual states must have a locking mechanism. all the mass car manufactures use thread lock so if its good enough for them its good enough for me

what i do know was not having anything was another item on my fail sheet :D

what other bolts does this apply to, i have taked on the bolts for the diff and gearbox mounts, and a few other things, do they need locks or is it just the brakes, cheers

the original bolts are 10.9's
