Heatproofing cables

My starter cables run too close for comfort to my exhaust, and i want to wrap, or cover them with something.

Anyone got any simple solutions? :D

Cheers

Fibreglass sheet! You can easily obtain it from any hotel :p :D

Fire blanket ;) :D

I expect you can get some silicone sleeving .... The kind of stuff that is often found protecting Lambda sensor cables, those little devils are often in very close proximity to the exhaust system ;)

CBS sell it in different diameters in 1m lengths, im just addressing the same probs myself with starter cables being very close to my manifold.

Im heat wrapping a small piece of the manifold near the cables and putting heat sleeving over the cables for good measure.
