Hi, I'm also using BMW running gear although from an E36. I've met a guy in Rugby where I live who has made the necessary dummy struts for the front suspension and the rear seems to convert relatively easily to fit the Ford Sierra designed upright. The only point seems to be the eventual width of the rear end. I'm seeing him again this coming week and hopefully we'll thrash put these points. If you're interested in this let me know and I'll keep you in the loop, regards Neil.
