Now that's what I call a bargain

Hi folks, been wondering how to make my exhaust IVA compliant recently. It's quiet enough but I would have to make a heatsheild that would keep Mr Iva's test sphere away from the sharp edges. Anyway, I was at an auction last night and a very nice Micron carbon fibre silencer came up, brand new it was, all with nice round edges. So I says to the missus - a tail pipe with a round edge will cost me a tenner, material for a heat shield the same again so if I can get the silencer for about £20 it's worth a punt. The hammer went down at 2 quid:D
I have test fitted it and it's certainly no louder than my Caterham exhaust so it looks like the one I will be going with. Happy days.:)
Beat that HandyAndy:D

Well that's quite a feather in the cap then - outdoing Handy on the bargain front :p
It's an auction I go to every week to buy stuff for my business, I guess I just got lucky that I was the only person in the room that wanted it.
Hopefully next week they will have a full rolling chassis for a fiver:D
