Bespoke Air Filter Plenum Chamber

I had a really productive day in the workshop today, I have completed the custom air filter plenum chamber that was required on my V6 Bosch K Jet Juel Injection System. (With a lot of CNC machining & help from my dad, all that saved hours of manual milling work!)

The original Sierra Air Filter box was a hugh lump of plastic that was almost impossible to fit under the hood. I have spent about the last 8 months pondering about the best way to get around it and putting off this job.

Quite pleased with the results

Very nice Spike, like the it sits on the bulkhead to. Should give a nice induction tone to the engine to - maybe add some vents to the side of the bonnet for plenty of cool air.

Excellent......AndyH ;)

Sound like a good idea, possibly an in line filter - canister filter connected to a scoop on the side. It's all a bit of trial an error but heading in the right direction!

Forgot to mention, I used Aluminium because it was a lot cheaper than a peice of plastic of the same size!

I meant to say more of a scoop like the one below:

Will get plenty of cold air in and not too obtrusive either, just thinking about it i think you have suggested the same thing.... been a long week.
