fitting the scuttle

made a great scuttle from alu but does any one any advice of how to fit it ie are you allowed to have small bolt heads along the outside or rivet it on or what would you advise

Domed plated cap screws on the outside or if you have a flange on the inside edges rivnut through the chassis.
