First drive yesterday!

Drove it for the first time yesterday - about 6 inches or so back and fore in the garage :D

Well guys I have spent my Christmas break doing the wiring - building a custom loom from scratch (with the exception of the engine harness which is all BMW straight out of the donor)

Yesterday I got the engine fired up, and got checking that things were working - instruments, charging circuit etc and of course, the clutch.

I only moved it a short distance, but it did move under it's own power for the very first time! Needless to say I'm happy as a pig in the proverbial.

Gotta get it finished soon, I'm dying to get it out on track.

congratulations Sam,

Its a great milestone of the build , if like me, you,ll be finding any excuse to reverse it out of the garage then drive it in again :D

best wishes for getting it on the track soon.

cheers

Well done,

I remember the first time I drove my sierra out of the garage after 2 years during it's 24V V6 4x4 Conversion. I am not sure if doing the same in the roadster will match that for me but we will see.

Did the V8 sound nice ;)

It sounds awesome. I'll get a video done tomorrow and post it on my blog.

And thanks to all for the compliments, they are all very much appreciated.
