brake pedal travel

Hi
I fitted the brake cylinder/pedal assembly and had problem with the travel of the brake pedal.
With adjustment it either bottomed out against the firewall or against the floor.
Isn't the full travel of the master cylinder used?

Filip,

There should be a bolt sticking out of the floor to act as a front stop for the lug on the pedal to rest on. Once the master cylinder is all plumbed up and the system full of brake fluid, you shouldn't be able to push the pedal all the way to the firewall.

Hope that helps.

Dave

Aha then I'll adjust the pedal once brake system is fitted.
Thanks!
