If you look at the link below, my dash is just that shape. I'm on holiday until Wednesday, but when I get home, I can take some measurements for you.

Does anybody have these measurments?
Cheers |
When I made my dash out of MDF. I just offered it up to the car and took some measurements. Made a cut then tried it back on the car. Repeated this until it fitted. Took half a day to make it. Your better off waiting until your ready to fit a dash

That dash looks familiar ;)
Theres some pictures of it finished in my blog below (just got the gauges) Will measure it for you tomorrow. |
cheers your a star.
I just went mad looking at dash Layouts on locost builders. thats not my final choice i'm going for a layerd look. |
I went for a simple dashboard on my 442 chassis. Panel is 9mm Marine Ply and in the picture it only has a sealer coat on. Will eventually have about 7 coats of varnish sanded between layers for that glossy Jag look. A cubbyhole will be still be fitted.
BTW, the instruments are gold rimmed VDO Heritage Gold Series units with classic black on ivory faces:cool: ![]() |
fair play look very nice.
