zetec starter probs?
 

just put my box on my engine sat on my garage floor and fitted my recon starter and had a bright idea to test it now as its new to see if the engine turned over.
got a charged battery and some jumpleads and conected it all up
it clicks on engaugement and gets the jump leads hot but no turny engine
checked and engine turns over ok, starter spins when removed so i was thinking i had some other problem like wrong starter :o

im using a std 1.8 cvh starter (lucas lrs707)
1.8 fiesta 93 zetec engine inc flywheel cct133 relese bearing and mk1 mondeo 1.8 clutch with type9 box

dont worry panic over
i dug out the section of loom for the starter and knocked up some conections and she cranks :)
