CP8 dimensions

1 Attachment(s)
Hello everybody,
I'm coming again with something looking wrong to me.
I'd like to know if CP8 is supposed to cover RS14 and go alongside RS13 until the rear edge of RS10, or if it has to stop just on the rear edge of RS14 ?
If we respect the dimension on the appendix (L=240,5mm), it can only stop at the rear edge of RS14.
If it is supposed to cover RS14 and go to the rear edge of RS10 (as we can see on the picture p44 of the book), it has to be about 305mm.

What is your mind about that please, and how did you guys do it ?
Thank you very much in advance for the help.

I havent fitted this piece yet but see what you mean.I would do it at the length you have worked out (305mm) and as directed in the book(add the fuel support plates cp8 between RS14 and RP1 touching the inside face of RP3 at the rear.)At least if it seems wrong you can cut the CP8 down to suit.

Yep, you are right my Friend.
But in the text, it does not explicitly say it hat to go along RS13 until RS10. It says "between RS14 and RP1", so the 240.5mm length is OK for that description.
But it is in contradiction with the figure 4.14 and the picture on figure 4.16, where we can see that CP8 goes beyond RS14.
But I'll do as you say, 305mm, and adjust, as it looks righter to me than the short edge-to-edge plate if it is 240,5mm.
Thank you for that.
Cheers.
