Saturn sports car

Just want to tell a little story after looking at many magazines, internet etc i decided to take the plunge and build myself a 7. After looking at many companies i really liked the idea and price of the haynes to cut a long story short i saw a little feature on Saturn so decided to look on their web site. within a couple of weeks i was taking the long drive up to Hartlepool (175 miles) to check it out. it didnt take me long to decide this was the one for me. The real point to the story is to big up Andy at Saturn i cannot stress enough, what an absolute pleasure it was to do business with him. It really is a top service he offers and many companies including large ones should take a leaf out of his book. So thanks again Andy (Saturn Sports Car)

I'm not quite sure what your saying or implying there but I'm sure it falls well between the lines of vagueness in true seasoned forum user type fashion. ;)

Big enough plug there to stop the north sea draining!

I used mainly Saturn GRP on my build, it was seriously good quality and well worth the money. The new big bulge bonnet looks fantastic and elliminates a lot of the issues found while fitting anything than a CVH or Pinto engine. I also used his brake pipe kit, which saved a lot of hassle in sorting the individual components. His after sales service is superb, so I concur with your findings. I can't comment on any of the other suppliers (of which there are a few) as I have never used their services.

I agree too,he his committed (or should be :p ) to the roadster and of course his buisness and if someone feels the need to say what he feels then so be it,others have done so not only for Saturn but also the other suppliers of parts etc.

I'm pleased to say that i don't need to create multi users, alter egos or have a dig at other suppliers at any opportunity in order to big up my business and if somebody wants to air their opinions for whoever then that's fine by me - it is, after all, why this forum was a good place to be as well as the friendly banter but it's quickly moving away from that now, pressing the "new post" button is not so much fun anymore. Maybe why we don't see a lot of the old regulars on here anymore. There's a lot of builders out there that do not post on the forum but like to have a regular look / read to see what's going on and if they want to spend a few hours up here to see cars (one demonstrator, two 80% complete, one at rolling chassis), fabrication and glassing and have a trip out and then maybe write a few notes about their experience then that's okay by me and makes all the hard work worthwhile as well as helping to get more people into the self build culture.

Back to work now......Andrew
