cvh sump
 

Hi guys,
just wandering if anyone got a cvh sump they need to get rid off or a spare they want to sell. I could do with one for 1.8 zetec as I have no ali welding machine.

why not see if you can find someone local that has alloy tig welder
its fairly easy to cut a band from the middle of the orignal sump and weld it back on :)

thanks for that, had thought of that but just wandering whether I should extend sump as well to recoup list oil volume? In which case I will need some pieces of Ali and dont want to buy any large bits if I can help it.
Bonzo mentioned that it was about 1/2 pint lost would that have adverse effect on motor.
