Daunting feeling.
 

Is it just me or has anyone else experienced that feeling when you pick up the "book" and think...... WoW this looks pretty complicated...??

I think because iv not got my table set up yet and I can't lay things out it's pretty daunting at the minute but I'm sure all will prevail lol (I hope so)

It probably just seems that way when reading the book & trying to take it all in at once.

Once you get the build table made & all marked out it'll all become clear :)

I thought that when I picked the book up first time. To make it easier to get your head around it think of it in build stages much like the drawings in the book ie
1:base rails
2:front frame and seat back
3:up rights
4:top rails and diag.s
5:rear suspension cage
6:cp3-4 and D12
7:tunel
8:all the odds'n'sods to mount things.

I think it is the fact of not having anything set out yet, I need to sell my other project before the other half says I'm "allowed" to use the garage lol

Iv only got the basic grp chassis kit at the minute so il be needing the cp kit and all the mounts etc before I can srtart properly right?

Is there a methodical way of buying things in order?

If some thing you need comes up at a price thats either 1/3 or 1/2 the price it would cost new buy it. How ever one thing to consider is that you see alot of unfinished kits/projects for sale that have the chassis, maybe the body work and an exspensive set of brand new wheels. The cost of the rims and rubber may have been the cost of every thing else that could have finished the kit.
