Ooops, working too fast
Oops...:o
I,m working hard cutting some chassis kits , & once i get into the flow I can really crack on , but sadly too fast for the motor on my bandsaw :D I think I,ve just fried it  :o Ho Hum. Off back to the garage to strip it down & see if I can tease it back to work .....I,ll talk nicely to it LOL cheers andy |
Sorry :o :D

Crikey Andy, you must be working that bandsaw hard
Take a leaf out of my book, put a piece in the saw to cut, go indoors to find a cuppa. When I hear the Ker-Chink on the workshop floor I think to myself " Must put another bit to cut Dreckly " :o :D Seriously though, them motors to tend to run very hot during constant use ( Doubt the motors have a cont rating on them ) With a little luck you may have just burnt out the run capacitor, these can be bought for not a lot ;) |
I,m cutting 3 kits at the moment ( well..I WAS :o ) & as I set the saw going on a cut I am busy preparing the next bit of steel for cutting, looks like I was going too quick:D ( see I DO work hard lol).
I,ve just taken it apart & can,t see anything obvious thats wrong apart from maybe some scorch marks on the rotor, but then again me & electrics are not best buddies :D Erm , I,m a bit stuck now if it doesn,t work when I put it back together .....tho a trip over to Saturn sounds like a plan to pinch theirs :D cheers andy |
