nancy heater
Has anyone bothered fitting a heater. Not being twenty anymore I am toying with the idea of fitting a heater and was wondering if this ground has already been trodden, if so what unit is a snug fit in that tight space?

In the days of political correctness are we permitted to call it a Nancy heater?

I've just ordered one from t7 design and am really impressed with the quality although the heater is £100 plus extra vents/pipes was debating about getting an old mini heater or something similar? This one does fit under the scuttle but may fit it in the engine bay with an intake pipe.

I plan to fit a small heater behind the dash on top of trans tunnel. I have a small unit that was in the rear of my camper when it was a minibus. I suffer terrible cramp if my feet get cold and as I'm now over the first flush of youth I consider it a necessity.

I think most heater matrixes with out the casing are small enough to hide some where in the chassis, you only need to have a small enclosure to heat passing air. I thought about putting one on the back of the passenger foot well/bulkhead, that way if you have any problems it's only bonnet off not dash and scuttle off. You could always make your own from copper 8-10mm fuel line if you have a radious bender and a few hours to kill. Having said that I've just had a look on fleebay and found this for not alot of money.

I would say cool but it would probably be more apt to say Warm :D :D
Quite like the look of that dainty heater Phil :) Kinda wish that I hadn't skipped the 4 Triumph heater units I had sitting on the shelf out in the workshop  |
I am thinking of something, possibly using two sierra matrix, one per side.

Early VW polo heaters were very popular at one time as very compact.

Please dont shout at me but i think i found the perfect heater. Its from a reliant rialto and its really dinky. trouble is someone needs to confirm if they are any good or not, that someone has to have been in one at some point so i am not expecting any answers here.Might have to join the plastic pig forum.
